Design Your Ideaz built the NexQR: Barcode & QR Generator app to help users generate, scan, and manage QR codes. This Privacy Policy explains how your data is used and protected when you use this app.

1. Information Collection & Use

We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email, address, or contacts.

However, we use third-party services to collect non-personal, anonymized data for app improvement purposes:

• Device type and OS version
• App usage statistics
• Crash logs and performance metrics

This information helps us understand how the app is performing and improve its functionality.

2. Permissions We Request

• Camera: Used only to scan QR and barcodes. We do not store or transmit any images or video.
• Storage: Used to save or share generated QR codes. We do not access other personal files.
• Location & Wi-Fi: Only used to help users create Wi-Fi QR codes. We do not collect or track your location.
• Internet: Required to:
  • Load advertisements
  • Check for updates or services
  • Open scanned links in the browser
• Foreground Services & Notifications: To support background scanning and alerts.

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services that may collect non-personal data:

• Firebase (Google) – for crash reporting and anonymous usage analytics.
• Google AdMob – for displaying ads within the app.

These services may collect anonymous identifiers (such as advertising ID or device ID) in accordance with their privacy policies. No data is shared with unauthorized third parties.

4. Data Retention

We do not store any personal data. All QR generation and scan history is stored locally on your device only and is fully under your control. You can clear it at any time from within the app.

5. Children’s Privacy

This app is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

6. Your Rights

• Revoke app permissions at any time in your device settings
• Delete local history from the app settings
• Uninstall the app to stop all data collection entirely
